This is a 40-hour/week job May 1 through October 30; training hours are available as early as April 1. SUMMER PROGRAMS COORDINATOR: 

This position works roughly 10-15 hrs/week from January-May and 38hrs/week June-August.  The ideal candidate will love kids, being outside and shaping future educators.  This position can be combined with the Public Programs Coordinator position for year round hours. PUBLIC PROGRAMS COORDINATOR:

We have an immediate opening for 6-8-hour a week, school-year Public Programs Coordinator.  The Public Programs Coordinator is responsible for managing children, family and adult public programs (during the school year).  This position can be combined with the Summer Programs Coordinator position for year round hours. FOREST GNOMES TEACHER

We seek an outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about sharing their love for nature with children ages 3 to 6. The Forest Gnomes is a play-based  program that focuses on nature immersion and the social, emotional and physical development of the child. Whatever the weather, the Forest Gnomes spend approximately 90% of the day outdoors. Teachers are meant to assist and model rather than instruct. This is a part-time position for approx. 26 hours per week (Mon through Thurs) from September through mid-June, with potential for additional teaching hours in the NCOF’s Friday Farm, after school and summer programs. SCHOOL & SCOUT & PUBLIC PROGRAM EDUCATOR

Do you have a strong interest in agriculture and the outdoors, love kids, communicate well, and like to learn new things? We’re looking for teachers September through June to teach everything from maple sugaring to forest and farm ecology to the life and care of our Farm animals. Training and support provided.
