Grow Together. Rebuild Together.
Early in the morning of March 17, 2021 our barn burned to the ground.
Henry and Jacob, 6-year-old twins, heard the news and ran to their rooms.
They came back with jingling piggy banks and told their parents they wanted to donate everything they had to help build a new barn at their beloved farm. Their $5.00 gift was the first donation made to rebuild after the fire.
We need you today…
A generous, anonymous friend has pledged that if we can raise $200,000 they will match every dollar, getting us nearly to our goal – but only if we raise the full amount.
Our new barn will retain the beautiful timber-framed character of our original barn, while making critical improvements to ensure safety and utility now and for centuries to come. The rebuild is a $1.1 million project, and to date we have secured $650,000 towards our goal.
Would you please join in Henry and Jacob’s generous spirit today and help us unlock this incredible gift?
Send a check to NCOF Barn Fire Relief Fund, 117 Eliot St., Natick, MA 01760.
Ask your company about matching your gift.
Since March, we have:
- Completed clean up & demo
- Identified community needs for the new barn
- Designed initial barn sketches
- Connected with local contractors.
Right now we are working on architectural designs with the goal of having our building permits in hand this spring. We hope to pour the slab and foundation for the new barn before our summer programming begins in June. If all goes smoothly, we will raise the barn in the fall of 2022 once our summer programs wrap up. We are excited to share the process with you going forward!
