LITTLE HANDS IN THE SOIL (Ages 3-5)
We're looking for little hands to help care for our "Toddler's Garden".
We'll plant, mulch, rake, water, and more - just like big gardeners.

BABY STARS AT THE FARM (Ages 3-5)
Get to know bunnies, kids, lambs, chicks and piglets through watching, touching and story telling. Each week will feature one animal. We will meet the animals, and read a story.

FARM friends (Ages 3-5)
Each week we will explore different aspects of the Farm including plants and animals.
Building on that experience we will read a story and do an activity.

Have you ever milked a goat? Spend some time with our milking friends! Does chocolate milk really come from brown cows? Come see and taste what we can make with milk!

Spend some time learning about these warm, fuzzy little creatures. How they live in the wild and how we care for them at home.

Explore the waterways of the Farm and the creatures that call this aquatic world home. With dip net and magnifying glass in hand we will get a close-up view of some of the Farm's smalles critters.

Let's grow together (Ages 3-5)
Over a period of a month we will see how plants and animals grow at the Farm. We'll be a part of how the Farm is changing with the season.

Let's discover the farm in beautiful spring and create crafts around the season - from painting flower pots, to sowing seeds, and gathering flowers.

BARNYARD BUDDIES (Ages 5-9)
Help wake up the Farm with morning chores such as feeding, watering, milking and collecting eggs.
When: Saturday, April 3 (1), 10 (2), 24 (3),May 1(4), 8(5), 22 (6) or June 5 (7)

SHEEP AND LAMBS (Ages 5-10)
Springtime sees our lambs running out on fresh grass in the meadow. Visit these gentle little creatures and learn about their needs and great products they give us.

SASSY GOATS (Ages 5-10)
Visit our bouncy arrivals, the new kids on the Farm. Let's build them something to climb on and visit their moms for some milking.

Let's visit the goats and our cow with calf. We'll milk our goats and find out about the many products we can turn it into.

PURELY PIGLETS (Ages 5 - 10)
Get to know the smartest animal on the Farm. A chance to learn about our piglets, feed them kitchen scraps, and watch them play in the mud.

YOUTH WORK EXPERIENCE Ages 11 +
Middle school children are invited to join our staff after school to take care of the animals and help with maintenance. From April to June students will help start vegetable seedlings, transplant and prepare gardens.
When: Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday, March 30 - June 3 (9weeks)

Family Programs
HOW SWEET TO SIP SAP WITH YOUR CHILD Ages 3-5 (parent/child class)
Learn about maple syrup. Listen to a story, hike out to the sugar trees and visit the sugar shack. Finally, enjoy our own maple syrup on some fresh pancakes. This is a parent/child class.

TODDLER EXPLORERS
For those children too young to separate, come with your parent/caregiver for a fun exploration of the farm. Join us as we read a farm story, see the plants and animals, watch a goat being milked or touch a soft bunny. A wonderful first exploration of the Farm for children ages 1-3 years!

A Farmer's Morning
Let's do it the farmer's way! First we will take care of the animals, feed and water them. We'll collect fresh eggs for breakfast, and then head inside for a hearty farm breakfast.

FARM TOUR FOR PARENTS & YOUNG CHILDREN
This Farm tour is especially for moms and das catering to the needs of wee ones. We'll start in the workshop, where we'll have a diaper changing table and comfy chairs for nursing and bottle-feeding. We'll move at a leisurely pace and visit the more stroller-friendly parts of the Farm. Fell free to duck off the tour to feed or change your little one(s) at any time, knowing that we'll take a second lap or even a third lap so that you'll be sure to see everything.

Come as a family to learn about honeybees as social insects, how a beehive and its colony work, the importance of honeybees in our food production, and the work of a beekeeper through the year. With the help on an observation hive (funded in cooperation with Mass. Agriculture in the classroom, Inc.), we'll understand better the fascinating world of honeybees.
